Child to Staff Ratio
Children are supervised at all times. All caregivers receive scheduled breaks which reduce fatigue and help to ensure alertness. We will maintain the following standards for child to staff ratios when applicable for the center:
24 Months
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 5 / 6:1 & 6 / 6
25 - 30 Months
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 7 8:1 & 8 / 10
31 - 35 Months
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 8:1 & 10
3 Year Olds
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 9 / 9:1 & 13 / 13
4 Year Olds
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 8 / 9:1 & 16 / 18
5 Year Olds
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 8 / 9:1 & 16 / 18
6 - 8 Year Olds
Age Child to Staff Max Group Size 10:1 & 20
9 - 12 Year Olds

Volunteers
UCCLC volunteers are not paid staff and not counted in the child: staff ratio. Volunteers are highly recommended and welcomed to come into our classrooms.
